I am in England and I am having the time of my life! So far we have been to The Tower of London, Lords (Home of Cricket) and The Cabnet War Rooms. We have been out to dinner at really good restaurants, we saw Mary Poppins a theatre production at the Prince Henry Theatre and we also went on a few tours such as 1 boat tour and 1 bus tour both live tours. The man on the bus tour kept bumping his head but we still found out what every thing is and was.
I thought I might share with you some words they use here instead of some words we use in America:
Afters=Dessert
Aubergine=Eggplant
Bap=Soft sandwich bun
Biscuit=Cracker or cookie
Chips=French fries
Crisps=Chips (potato chips or chips)
Lorry=Truck
Loo=Toilet/Restroom
Lift=Elevator
Petrol=Gas
Serviette=Napkin
Queue=To line up
There are lots more words that I have but I dont want to say them all it is 12:30 and we have football (soccer) yet to play at a castle near our house we are staying at. We have been to Wimboldon and the Tour De France starting to it was so much fun!
